This is one of the most perfect movies I have ever seen! When I close my eyes, I think I can see Charlie Chaplin smiling. It is a masterpiece.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/reinhardkargl.com\/iBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/The-Artist-Poster-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1630\" title=\"The-Artist-Poster-1\" src=\"http:\/\/reinhardkargl.com\/iBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/The-Artist-Poster-1-300x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"http:\/\/reinhardkargl.com\/iBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/The-Artist-Poster-1-300x400.jpg 300w, http:\/\/reinhardkargl.com\/iBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/The-Artist-Poster-1.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With no less than ten Academy Award nominations, so much has been written about this movie that I don&#8217;t feel the need to add a lot more. (If you are so inclined, read the detailed reviews by movie critics\u00a0<a title=\"Roger Ebert - The Artist\" href=\"http:\/\/rogerebert.suntimes.com\/apps\/pbcs.dll\/article?AID=\/20111221\/REVIEWS\/111229993\" target=\"_blank\">Roger Ebert<\/a> or\u00a0<a title=\"Kenneth Turan - The Artist\" href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2011\/nov\/25\/entertainment\/la-et-the-artist-20111125\" target=\"_blank\">Kenneth Turan<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Just this: if you think you don&#8217;t care for silent movies, do not be deterred. See it anyway! First of all, the movie is not &#8220;silent&#8221;. Secondly, there is a reason why the story was told this way. Go and find out! (But see it in the theater!
