Noir at Musso &#038; Frank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a shot I captured during a cocktail hour at <a title=\"Musso and Frank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mussoandfrankgrill.com\/\">Musso &amp; Frank<\/a>, one of Hollywood&#8217;s legendary old joints.\u00a0In its heyday it was a popular hangout for the Hollywood scene, including movie stars, film directors, producers and writers such as\u00a0<a title=\"F. Scott Fitzgerald\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/F._Scott_Fitzgerald\">F. Scott Fitzgerald<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"William Faulkner\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Faulkner\">William Faulkner<\/a> and\u00a0<a title=\"Raymond Chandler\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raymond_Chandler\">Raymond Chandler<\/a>.\u00a0<a title=\"Ernest Hemingway\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ernest_Hemingway\">Ernest Hemingway<\/a> sipped cocktails here, and Orson Welles used to hold court.<\/p>\n<p>Legend has it that\u00a0<a title=\"Charlie Chaplin\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charlie_Chaplin\">Charlie Chaplin<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Rudolph Valentino\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rudolph_Valentino\">Rudolph Valentino<\/a>, and\u00a0<a title=\"Douglas Fairbanks\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Douglas_Fairbanks\">Douglas Fairbanks<\/a> raced each other down Hollywood Boulevard on horseback, the loser having to pick up the dinner tab at Musso &amp; Frank.<\/p>\n<p>This shot takes me to L.A. Noir.
